Elizabeth Ann Renfrow Rose

Elizabeth Ann Renfrow Rose, of Bowling Green, 77, died Wednesday at The Medical Center.

She was born in Butler County, Ky., and graduated from Leitchfield High School.

She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, its United Methodist Women and bgamug computer club. Earlier in her life, she was bookkeeper at Nehi-Royal Crown Bottling and a civilian employee of the Bowling Green Police Department.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Madge Haycraft Renfrow; a brother, Ray "Junior" Renfrow; a sister, Lorraine (Elmer) Frye; and a daughter, Marcia Renee Rose Shartzer, who died in November.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, J. Kent Rose, of Bowling Green; a son, Barry L. (Maggie) Rose, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; several other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many close friends.

Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, October 2, 2015 and 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. Saturday, October 3, 2015 at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday at the funeral chapel, with Rev. Rick Bard officiating. Burial will be in Bowling Green Gardens.
