Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Arnold

Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Arnold age 80 of Morgantown KY, passed away on the 28th day of January 2024 at the Hospice House of Southern KY. Betty was born in Detroit Michigan on the 19th day of September 1943 to the union of the late Edward J. and Edna E. Zilz Malicke. She was a member of Morgantown First Baptist Church and a 48 year member of AA. Betty retired from Sumitomo Electric and she enjoyed reading, shopping online, watching TV and eating at Texas Roadhouse. She loved spending time with the grandchildren, talking with friends and driving around looking at the landscape. Betty was loved by all who knew her.

Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Arnold is survived by her husband Gary Arnold of Morgantown, KY; one son Curt Qualls (Bette) of Lexington, KY; one step son Cary Arnold (Robin) of Anniston, Alabama; grandsons Jesse and Casey Qualls of Pontiac, Michigan, and Aiden Qualls of Lexington, KY; one great grandchild Quinton Qualls Pontiac, Michigan; one brother Kenneth Malicke (Beth) Shelby Township, Michigan; brother in law Larry Arnold (Joy) of Beaver Dam, KY; several nieces Karen Sabatowski, Lynn Montgomery, Vanesa Price, Jill Arnold; several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 3:00pm with Bro. Gary Wallace officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 1:00pm until funeral time at 3:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children 110 Conn Terrace Lexington, KY 40508 or Hospice of Southern Kentucky 5872 Scottsville Road Bowling Green, KY 42104.
