Effie M. Hunt, 90 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Saturday December 12, 2020 at the Beaver Dam Nursing and Rehab Facility in Beaver Dam, KY. Effie was born January 7, 1930 in the Flint Springs Community of Ohio County, KY to the union of Edgar and Ida Smith Kiper. She was a member of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Kellwood. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her ex-husband the father of her children Alfred Hunt; three siblings Edith, Virgil and Adron Kiper; one great granddaughter Breely Wood and one nephew Donnie Kiper. 

Effie M. Hunt is survived by three children Treva Rogers (Bob), Ricky Hunt (Jill) and Sandra Cardwell (Brian); 12 grandchildren Tamara Tuggle, Samuel Hunt (Mandy), Matthew Hunt, Jaysen Cardwell (Jessica), Keshia Sanford (Mike), Codey Cardwell (Savannah), Heather Woods (Brandon), Roger Pharris Jr (Taylor), Rodney Rogers (Kathy),

Tammy Frizzell (Kevin), Tracey Rogers (Laura) and Jackie Smith (Tim); 29 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; 1 nephew and 4 nieces.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Tuesday December 15, 2020 at 1:30pm with Bro. T.J. Howard officiating. Burial will be held in the New Liberty Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday December 15, 2020 from 10:00am until funeral time at 1:30pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.The Funeral service can be viewed live Tuesday December 15, 2020 at 1:30pm through our website www.jonesfuneralchapel.com; click on Effie's obit, tribute wall and then live webcast.
