Edward Jerome Kolidziej, 87 of Attica, Indiana passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 9:25 a.m. at the Williamsport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Ed was born in East Chicago, Indiana on April 19, 1924. He was the son of Leon and Caroline Kozdras Kolodziej. He was married to Josephine Abbott and she preceded him in death by 2005. He previously lived in Florida and in Morgantown, Ky.
He was a machinist in East Chicago. He farmed in Michigan. He served in the US Coast Guard. He was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Church in Attica and the Sierra Club. He enjoyed helping others.
Ed is survived by one niece Carolyn High and husband Jerry. Preceded in death by one sister Bernice Bazan and three brothers Stanley, Walter and Joseph.
Graveside services will be held at the Oak Grove Cemetery Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 12:00pm with Bro. Jimmy McIntosh officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
