Edra "Dean" Ragland, age 92 of Fairland, Indiana passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024 at her residence. Dean was born on Saturday, September 26, 1931 in the South Hill community of Butler County, KY to the union of the late Omer and Nora Andrews Grubb. She was a member of Fairland Baptist Church and she retired from Specialty Connector Company in  Franklin, Indiana. She enjoyed sewing and cooking but most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by siblings Quint, Carl, Bradley and Rayburn Grubb, Altha Carroll, Ruby Belilies and Lorene Pendley.

Edra "Dean" Ragland is survived by one sister Agnes Jo Martin; two children Kathy Hobson (Dick) and Jan Ragland; four grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday, February 16, 2024 at 1:00pm with Bro. Murl Gray officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 10:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
