Edna Ruth Brown, 86 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 10, 2014 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center in Morgantown. Mrs. Brown was born May 20, 1927 in Butler County, to the late Relious and Ollie Jones Ragland Brown.  She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and worked as a salesclerk for many years of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lonnie Clifton Brown, one brother Sanford Brown two sisters Irene Webster and Maudra Givens.

Edna Brown is survived by her two daughters; Glenna Sue Givens and husband James of Morgantown, Shirley Ann Baize and husband Weldon of Morgantown; one son Jeffrey Scott Brown and wife Angela of Lawrenceburg, Ky.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and several nieces.    

Graveside Service will be held at Peyton-Brown Cemetery, Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Chad Bewley officiating . Burial will follow in the Peyton-Brown  Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 10:30 - 1:45 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky.
