Earl Glen Wilson, age 73 of Murfreesboro, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mr. Wilson was born in Love, Ky. to the late Jakie D. and Lucy J. Wilson. He was a member of Northfield Blvd Church of Christ and a Real Estate Broker. He was a member American Legion, current Colonel on the staff of the Governor of Kentucky in the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels and retired from the United States Navy. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Jenny Wilson, sisters Geneva Woodcock, Sharon Wilson, and Ruby Woodcock. He is survived by his wife Shiela Wilson of Murfreesboro, son Richard Wilson of Louisville, Ky.; step son Jon (Kristen) Reames of Franklin; step daughter Shannon (Bruce) McKinney of Tampa, FL; step grandchildren John Tyler Reames, Mackenzie Reames, Janie Reames, Keeley Reames, Mason McKinney, Colton McKinney; sister Sarah Tomes of Henryville, IN; brother Kenneth Wilson of Elkton, Ky; sister Jeanette Camfield of Elizabethtown, Ky; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Tuesday October 16, 2012 at the Flatwood Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday October 16, 2012 12:00pm – 2:00pm at the Flatwood Church of Christ. Jones Funeral Chapel is in charge of local arrangements.
