Doyle Willis Proctor, 79, of  Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 at his residence.  He was born in Huntsville, Kentucky on October 16, 1936 to the late Palastine and Doxie Abbott Proctor.   He was of the Pentecostal-Apostolic faith.  He enjoyed reading his Bible and playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He loved gardening and being a devoted husband for 60 years.  Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.

Mr. Proctor is survived by his wife, Louise Drake Proctor of Morgantown; children, Karen McKinney and husband Bobby of Morgantown; Mike Proctor and wife Kelly of Pinckneyville, Il.; Sheila Morgan and husband Mack of Salem, Ma.; Lisa Wolfinbarger and husband Gary of Morgantown; and Shannon Silverman and husband Daniel of St. Louis, Mo.; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; five sisters, Hazel Stinson of Russellville, Ky., Margie Drake of Beechmont, Ky., Olene Abbott of Madisonville, Ky., Velma Drake of Morgantown, and Lois Sumner of Russellville, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 12 p.m. with Bro. Charles Shephard officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 22 from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday 8 a.m. until time of service at Smith Funeral Home in Morgantown, Kentucky.  Online condolences may be made at: www.smithfuneralhomeonline.com.
