Dottie Stevenson, age 67, of Morgantown, KY, departed this life on Monday, April 4, 2016 at her residence in Morgantown, KY. The Jefferson County native was born on October 22, 1948 to the late Frank and Goldie Newton Shea and was married 47 years to Richard Stevenson who survives.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and her house plants and was an avid collector of Shirley Temple dolls. She was a member of Temple Hill General Baptist Church where she enjoyed worshipping with friends and family.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Chad Stevenson (Wanda) of Louisville and Jayden Stevenson of Morgantown; three daughters, Tammy Deweese (Jonathan), Jennifer McCombs (Todd) and Renea Stevenson all of Morgantown; three sisters, Bonnie Haycraft and Paulette Logsdon both of Louisville and Deanna Watts (Jeff) of New Albany, IN; thirteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Donnie Shepherd, Buster Shea, and Frank Shea, Jr. and one son, Anthony Wayne Stevenson.

Interment will be in New Salem Church Cemetery .
