Dorothy K. Cox Pendley, 88 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday January 23, 2016 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Dorothy was born December 6, 1927 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Luchen Tessley Keown and Mable Hawks Keown and wife of the late Charles Edward Cox. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one son Robert Tessley Cox, one granddaughter Veronica Ann "Bonnie" Rothwell, one grandson Robert Thomas "Robbie" Cox, two sisters Lois Bratcher and Glennadel Keown and one brother James Elwood Keown.
Dorothy K. Pendley is survived by two daughters Vina Jane Howard and Lutricia Turner both of Morgantown, Ky.; four sons Larry Douglas Keown and wife Jackie of Bowling Green, Ky., Charles Edward Cox Jr. of Morgantown, Ky., Danny Earl Cox and wife Teresa of Morgantown, Ky. and Ronnie Cox and wife Paula of Bowling Green, Ky.; four sisters Delah K. Luttrell of Morgantown, Ky., Nokie Pearl West of Morgantown, Ky., Joann Carter of Morgantown, Ky. and Norma Jean Butler of Louisville, Ky.; two brothers Luchen Keown Jr. and wife Judy of Morgantown, Ky. and Edward Jerome Keown of Morgantown, Ky.; 18 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 10:00am.

Burial will be in the Barren River Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm and Wednesday 8:00am until funeral time at 10:00am at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
