Doris Elaine Embry Rone, age 92 of Bowling Green, KY passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at her residence. Doris was born on Friday, June 27, 1930 in Butler County, KY to the union of the late Benjamin Harrison and Clara Jane Justis Embry and wife of the late Otto Taylor Rone. She was a member of Morgantown Church of Christ and a homemaker. Doris enjoyed working in her flowers. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one son Michael Otto Rone; three brothers Everett, Edwin and Benjamin Embry and five sisters Ruby Embry, Ada King, Lucille Phelps, Eletta "Byrd" Hutchinson and Mable Embry.

Doris Elaine Rone is survived by two children Rebecca Minton husband David of Morgantown, KY and James Matthew Rone of Bowling Green, KY; daughter in law Sally Rone of Morgantown, KY; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 1:00pm with Bro. Randall Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Hill Haven Memory Garden where Vance Absure, Jamie Givens, Steven Moffett, Ernie Cardwell, Jonathan and Adam Rone will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 10:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
