Doretha Webster Townsley, 64, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  She was born on May 4, 1956 to the late Azro and Thelma Phelps Webster.  She was a member of Trinity Full Gospel Tabernacle Church.  Doretha enjoyed collecting clowns, hanging out with her best friends and her grandkids.  She also enjoyed going out to eat, music and dancing.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Larry Townsley; grandson Jayden Hawkins; brothers Willie, Floyd and Carlos Webster; sisters Elizabeth Moran and Clara Beyers.

She is survived by her son Aaron Hawkins (Rebecca Harden); grandchildren Clayton Mersing, Kelsie Howard, Dominic Hawkins, Kirra Hawkins, Ava Coots, Raelynn Hawkins and Ivy Hawkins; best friends Edna Childress and Barbara Martin; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 1pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Webster officiating.  Burial will be held in the Webster Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Monday, May 3 from 4pm to 8pm and on Tuesday from 9:30am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home. 

Everyone must wear a mask and social distancing is required.  No outside food or drink may be brought in.
