Donna Kay Anderson, 66, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026. She was born on January 21, 1960 to George F. Sweatt and the late Lois Mae Sweatt. A Warren County native, Donna lived a life of selfless service and care to her family, friends and community.

She graduated from Warren Central High School in 1978. After graduating, she found herself back in the school, working in various different roles. Donna spent a couple years in the education system before finding work at Desa where she worked in sales and customer service.

Donna was a woman of faith and found the Lord in her early childhood years. She had a big heart to care for those around her. Donna was a homemaker and caretaker at heart who loved cooking, writing and sending cards out and spending time with friends and family. Whether it be in the comfort of her home or pool side, she always had a book in her hand. She loved the ocean and one of Donna’s favorite places was at the beach in Florida. She was an avid animal lover and cared for her 16 years old dog, Hitch.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her two beloved children; Nick Anderson (Magon) and Ashley Smith (Bobby), sisters; Kathy Morgan (Phillip) and Stephanie Sweatt (Kevin), brother; Brett Sweatt (Teri) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Devoted and dedicated Gran, Donna had a special place in her heart for her three grandchildren; Kinslee, Sierra and Savana. She truly cherished the time she spent with them.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date that will be announced by J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel.
