Donna C. Morris, 73, of  Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away on March 27, 2026, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was born on October 13, 1952, in Clarkson, Kentucky, in Grayson County, and lived a life marked by faith, courage, and a spirited devotion to the people and animals she loved.

Donna was a woman of deep conviction and quiet strength. She carried herself with grace and determination, and those who knew her will remember her as faith-filled, courageous, and spirited.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Lorene Decker McGrew, as well as one granddaughter and many beloved pets who held a special place in her heart.

Donna is survived by her husband, Douglas R. Morris Sr., whom she married on August 8, 1992. Together they shared many years of love, companionship, and devotion. She is also survived by her children, Shannon, Eugenia and her husband Kevin, and Douglas Jr. and his wife Jill. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Jordan and his wife Erica, Benjamin, Wyatt, Aleisha, Samuel, and Raye, as well as her great-grandchild, Evelyn, who brought her great joy. She is also survived by her siblings, Steve and his wife Ruth, Sandy, Barbie and her husband Barry, Diane and her husband Steve, Barry and his wife Carrie, Kathy, and Debbie, along with several nieces and nephews.

Donna was proud of her education and the accomplishments she achieved through hard work and perseverance. She earned an Associate of Arts degree from Daymar College and graduated Summa Cum Laude, a reflection of her dedication and determination.

Her work life included many years as a Proto Type employee for Sumitomo Electric, where she was known for her reliability and steady presence. She was also a past member of Cornerstone Assembly of God and attended Vinyard Workers Church in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Outside of work and family, Donna found joy in the things that made a house feel like home. She loved her pets dearly and had a special heart for rescuing animals. She also enjoyed quilting, gardening, and canning, and she took pride in the care and patience those hobbies required. These interests reflected her nurturing spirit and her appreciation for the beauty found in everyday life.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 1:00pm with Bro. Jacob Holmes officiating. A private burial will be held in the Antioch Community Cemetery where Kevin, Douglas Jr, Jordan, Justis, Wyatt and Samuel will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm and Tuesday 8:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
