Donald Leroy Givens, 64, of Georgetown, Ky. passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Ky. He was born in Jefferson Co., Ky. on October 24, 1953 to the late Forrest and Maxine Duncan Givens. Donald was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky., a machinist at CSX Transportation, loved to hunt and watch University of Kentucky basketball. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother in law Larry Payne.

Donald is survived by his wife of 26 years Linda T. Givens of Georgetown; children Branden Givens (Kim) and Justin Givens (Tara) both of Louisville and Kelly Dean House (Sherry) of Georgetown; grandchildren Phillip Dean House of Nashville, Tn., Abigail and Sophia Givens both of Louisville; brothers Troy Lee Givens (Mayetta) of Franklin, Ky. and Doyle Givens (Debbie) of Louisville; sisters Elizabeth Ann Payne and Hila Barker (Randy) both of Louisville; nieces Lisa, Jeni and Hannah and nephew Lindsay; grand dog Bruno.

Visitation and Funeral service will be held at Union Missionary Baptist Church, Morgantown, on Wednesday, June 27 with Bro. Chris Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 pm CST until time of service at 2 pm CST. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky.
