Donald Earl Lindsey, age 78 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Friday, September 1, 2023 at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY. Donald was born on Saturday, February 17, 1945 in Butler County, KY to the union of the late Julian E. and Maxine Phelps Lindsey and husband of the late Retha Louise O'Bannon Lindsey. He retired from DECO Paper Products in Louisville, KY and he enjoyed watching the University of Kentucky Basketball and his tractors. Other than his parents and wife he is preceded in death by three children Loretta Lindsey, Lawanda Lindsey and Donald Lindsey, Jr.; one brother David Lindsey; two sisters Linda Neal and Christine Phelps; sister in law Sharon Lindsey and one son in law Gary Zoller, Jr..

Donald Earl Lindsey is survived by one daughter Crystal Zoller (fiance Chris Conklin) of Louisville, KY; four grandchildren Justin Lindsey of Morgantown, KY, Austin Lindsey of Morgantown, KY, Jordan Zoller of Louisville, KY and Cody Zoller of Louisville, KY; six great grandchildren Bryleigh Grace Zoller of Louisville, KY, Layken Zoller of Louisville, KY, Jordan Zoller Jr of Louisville, KY, Jaxon Lindsey of Morgantown, KY, Addison Lindsey of Russellville, KY and Ajalynn Lindsey of Russellville, KY; two sisters Janice Lindsey (Pat McGrew) of Utah and Kathy Barbee of Drakesboro, KY and several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 9:30am until 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Graveside services and burial will follow in the Minton Cemetery.
