Diana D. Embry Bierly, 77 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at her daughters residence in Henryville, In. Ms. Bierly was born July 24, 1936 in Butler Co., Ky. to the late Eclat Embry and Frances Lacefield Embry. Diana retired from General Electric.  She was a member of the Roundhill Church of Christ and she was an avid UK basketball fan.  She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Blanche Tomes, Glendolyn Tomes, Doris Merritt, and Bernice Hunt.
Survivors include: husband, Jim Bierly.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dianne Taylor Ervin.  Also survived by children James Allen Bierly (Barb), Fran Munk (Jay), Dexter Wilson (Vickie), and Cindy Howe (Mike) and grandchildren Todd Taylor, Boone Taylor, Darren Taylor, Shawn Bierly, Chad Bierly, Jillian Hendricks, Cody Munk, Cory Munk, Bailey Wilson, Brent Ervin, Cady Munk, Chad and Carson Howe, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Diana is also survived by siblings, Costella Phelps, Peggy Barrett (Martin), Cody Embry (Monnie), Dell Cavanaugh (Bobby), numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, Friday, December 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Kevin Morrow officiating . Burial will follow in Lawson-Embry Cemetery Visitation will be Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 12:30 - 8:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
