Dewey L. Cook, 80 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Monday April 27, 2015 at the Signature Health Care of Bowling Green, Ky.

Dewey was born August 25, 1934 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Noah and Gertrude Cook and husband of the late Patricia Pieffer Cook. He was retired from the Bloomington IL Fire Department after 33 years of service and a member of Mt Vernon Missionary Baptist Church. Other than his parents and wife he is preceded in death by two sisters Thelma and Velma Cook.

Dewey L. Cook is survived by one daughter Debbie Schaffer husband Steve of Saunemin, IL; one son Mark L. Cook wife Marilyn of Morgantown, Ky.; two grandchildren, Emily (Luke) Bonvallet of Kankakee, Alex (Stephanie Gardiner) Schaffer of Lebanon, IN, two great granddaughters, Evelyn and Clara Bonvallet of Kankakee; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday May 1, 2015 at the Kibler Brady Ruestman Memorial Home 1104 N. Main St. Bloomington IL at 11:00am.

Burial will be in the Park Hill Cemetery in Bloomington IL. Visitation will be held Wednesday April 29, 2015 from 10:00am - 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel in Morgantown, Ky. and Friday May 1, 2015 from 9:00am - 11:00am at the Kibler Brady Ruestman Memorial Home 1104 N. Main St. Bloomington IL.
