Denzel Kenneth Lindsey, age 86 of Morgantown, KY passed away Monday, September 4, 2023 at his residence. Denzel was born on Wednesday, January 27, 1937 in Butler County, KY to the union of the late Loma and Gordie Lee Lindsey. Denzel loved working, farming, fencing, building things and doing carpentry work. He was retired from the Kellwood Company in Morgantown, KY. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers Alton and Bobby Lindsey.

Denzel Kenneth Lindsey is survived by five children Dolvetta Embry, Noreta Keown (Lindle), Ailsa Willis, Daniel Lindsey (Stephanie) and Aimee Lindsey all of Morgantown, KY; seven grandchildren Miranda McClintock (Rob) of Morgantown, KY, Jordan Embry (Tracy) of Austin, TX, William Keown (Heather) of Morgantown, KY, Tabitha Drury (Jesse) of Nicholasville, KY, Maggie Willis of Richardsville, KY, Shelby and Emry Lindsey of Morgantown, KY; 13great grandchildren; three sisters Marie Ward of Evansville, Indiana, Earlene Miller (Ronald) of Evansville, Indiana and Lois Flener (Darrell) of Taylorsville, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 12:00pm with Bro. Terry Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Morgan Smith Cemetery where his friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Saturday 9:00am until funeral time at 12:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
