Denzel Embry

Denzel Embry, 91 of Roundhill, Kentucky passed away Saturday, January 31, 2015 at his daughter's residence in Morgantown, Ky. Denzel was born November 8, 1923 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Herschel and Ola Flener Embry and husband of the late Cecile Lindsey Embry. He was a member of Roundhill Church of Christ , a World War II Army Veteran, retired bus driver for many years for the Butler County School System and farmer. Other than his parents and wife he is preceded in death by one sister Elma Evans and one son in- law Wendell Embry.
Denzel Embry is survived by four daughters Glenda Embry of Morgantown, Ky., Marilyn Raymer and husband Bobby of Roundhill, Ky., Roberta Spillman and husband Danny of Bowling Green, Ky. and Regina Embry (Donnette Davis) of Murfreesboro, TN; one son Dwight Embry and wife Jennifer of Morgantown, Ky.; 7 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren; one sister Edna Laster of Anderson, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 11:00am with Bro. Roger Taylor and Bro. Dagwood Huff officiating. Burial will be in the Smith Cemetery where Military Rites will be conducted. Serving as pallbearers will be Derrick, Brad, and Steve Embry, Bobby Raymer, Brian Johnson and Jordan Miller. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 10:00 am til 8:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel and on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015 from 8:00am til funeral service time at 11:00am at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
