Delma Maria Diaz, 74 of Morgantown, KY passed away Tuesday October 13, 2020 at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Delma was born December 3, 1945 in Uvalde, Texas to the late Francisco and Maria Rodriguez Ortiz. She was a member of Monticello Missionary Baptist Church and a retired restaurant owner. Delma loved to cook and sew. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by four sisters O'Delia Hernandez, Dora Rodriguez, Naomi Cardenas and Beatriz Rodriguez;  three brothers Jesus, Paul and Tony Rodriguez and one granddaughter Elena "Ellie" Grace Burns. 

Delma Maria Diaz is survived by her husband of 50 years Eugenio Diaz Jr. of Morgantown, KY; five children Dianna Gibert (Tom) of Jackson, TN, Delia Burns (Randy) of Provo, KY, Debbie Riley (Joe) of Tucson, Arizona, Rebecca Smith (Jason) of Morgantown, KY and Robert Diaz (Sarah) of Kimball, West Virginia; 10 grandchildren; two sisters Amelia Rocha of Wauseon, Ohio and Teresa Anaya (Eddie) of Toledo, Ohio; one brother Jessie Rodriguez (Janie) of Pettisville, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday October 16, 2020 at 1:00pm with Bro. Randy Burns officiating. Burial will be held in the Monticello Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday October 16, 2020 from 10:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
