David "Bobby" Kirby, 82 of Morgantown, KY passed away Wednesday July 1, 2020 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. Bobby was born July 27, 1937 in the Southhill Community of Butler County, KY to the union of William Lester and Phoebie Golden Webster Kirby. He was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church and a retired carpenter. Bobby loved fishing, being outside, watcking UK Basketball and loved being a Grandpa. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by two children David Alan Kirby and Teresa Ann Kirby; three brothers Arlis, Ellis and Glendal Kirby and three sisters Ernie Mims, Ruby Gary and Susie Webster.

David "Bobby" Kirby is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Dorothy West Kirby of Morgantown, KY; one son Jon Kirby of Franklin KY; one daughter Sherry Kirby of Morgantown, KY; one grandchild Octavia Kirby of Morgantown, KY; special friend of the family Randy Walker of Franklin, KY; one sister Helen Vanfleet (Max) of Vidor, Texas and several nieces and nephews. 

All services are private and under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel with Bro. Harold West officiating. Burial will be held in the Cool Springs Cemetery.
