Darrell Wayne Jones, 68 of Morgantown, KY passed away Wednesday July 15, 2020 at his residence. Darrell was born April 7, 1952 in Daviess County, Kentucky to the late Paul William and Polley Elizabeth Adkins Jones. He was a United States Seabee Veteran Navy & Marines, member of the American Legion and of the Christian faith. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Anna Fay Jones Matthews and five brothers Harold, Earl, Joseph, Cecil Ray and Richard Jones.

Darrell Jones is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Mary Ruth Phelps Jones of Morgantown, KY; two daughters Mickie Sullivan (Sean) of Houston, Texas and Melanie Hudson (Jesse) of Morgantown, KY; three grandchildren Lillien Hudson, Jennifer Hudson and Lawrence Hudson all of Morgantown, KY; two brothers Allen Jones of Bowling Green, KY and Paul W. Jones (Josephine) of Morgantown, KY; two sisters Bonnie Belcher of Morgantown, KY and Avil Cardwell (Jim) of Morgantown, KY and several nieces and nephews.
