Darrell G. Wilson, 77,  of  Provo, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013 at his residence in Provo. Mr. Wilson was born March 2, 1936 in Butler County, to the late Cecil Wilson and Ruby Pendley Wilson. He was a member of Monticello Baptist Church and Trustee for 46 years, served on the Board of Directors at Farm Bureau, was a 50 year member of Cassia  Lodge #272 F&AM. Mr. Wilson was very active in the Rural Development, an avid fishermen, hunter and a true UK fan.  He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Winifred LaMastus Wilson.

Mr. Wilson is survived by 2 sons: Brice Wilson and wife Donna, Tony Wilson and wife Theresa all of Provo; 4 grandchildren: Tiffany Wilson of Rochester, Jonathan Wilson and wife Misti,  Kevin Wilson and wife Jessica, and Dustin Wilson all of Provo; 3 great-grandchildren: Isaac Wilson , Jayce Wilson and Camden Wilson;  2 sisters: Melba Holman and husband Jim , Patricia Forbes and husband Kenneth all of Provo; Sister-In-Law: Rhoda LaMastus Locklear of Las Vegas.  

Funeral Service will be held at Monticello Baptist Church, Sunday, October  20, 2013 at  2:00 p.m.  with Bro: Randy Burns officiating.  Burial will follow in the Rone Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.  with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home and Sunday from 8 a.m-11:45 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home and then will Lie In State from 12:30 pm  until time of service at 2 p.m. at  Monticello Baptist Church.
