Darrell "Dink" Embry, age 75 of Morgantown, KY, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Born on Saturday, August 13, 1949, in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Veldon "Buck" Embry and Ada Loretta Embry.

He is survived by his aunts, Levone Embry and Kathy Horton, along with a host of friends who became his extended family. To know Dink was to love him, and his presence was a gift to all who had the pleasure to know him.

Dink, was honored with the title of a Kentucky Colonel, a recognition he was so very proud to have received. Dink's professional life, working for Coleman Homes, Coleman Brothers Motors, and Duke Construction. His years at these establishments were more than just a job; they were friendships. Dink loved people, he had the rare ability to strike up a conversation with anyone, and he truly never met a stranger.

Funeral services will be held Jones Funeral Chapel, Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 1:00pm with Bro. Greg Fields officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
