Danny Ray McKinney, 55, of  Morgantown, Ky., passed away Friday, September 22, 2017, at his residence. He was born in Warren Co., Ky. on July 28, 1962, to the late R.D. and Barbara Jones McKinney.  He worked at the State Highway Department for many years, was a member of the Reedyville Masonic Lodge and the Butler County Antique Tractor and Engine Club.  Danny enjoyed collecting and driving tractors as well as fishing and boating.    He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents Henry and Josie McKinney and Stanley and Vida Jones; mother-in-law Judy Burden; two aunts and one uncle.

Mr. McKinney is survived by his wife of 25 years Amy McKinney; son D.J. McKinney and wife Toni; daughter Gloria McKinney all of Morgantown; aunt Elizabeth Lee and husband David of Louisville; father-in-law Joe Burden and partner Sue Iler of Morgantown; brother-in-law Frankie Burden and wife Cindy of Franklin; special cousin Judy Ward Johnson of Bowling Green; niece Kaley Burden and nephew Gage Burden both of Franklin; several cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 2 pm with Bro. David Youngblood officiating.
Burial will follow at Cook Cemetery. 
Visitation will be on Monday, Sept. 25 from 4-8 pm and Tuesday from 8 am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
