Danny Ray Adkins, 49, of  Greenville, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital.  He was born in Warren County, Kentucky on April 28, 1966.  He was a team leader at Daicel Safety Systems and attended Greenville First Assembly of God Church.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Adkins, and brother, Charles Lee Adkins.
Danny is survived by wife, Carol Adkins of Greenville; daughter, Ashley Beasley and fiance, Jeremy Boyd of Morgantown; son, D.C. Adkins of Morgantown; granddaughter, Taiyah Beasley of Morgantown; mother, Shirley Forbes of Drakesboro; step-children, Joey Jones and wife Katrina of Greenville; Casey Jones and wife Cindy of Louisville; Jade Stanley and husband Brandon of Greenville; and Jacob Jones and wife Lisa of London, Ky.; brother, Dennis Adkins of Morgantown; aunts, Gladys Dowell of Louisville, Irlene Crissy and Opalene Cardwell both of Hopkinsville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Ed Thacket officiating.  Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12-8 p.m. and Monday 8 a.m. until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
