Corine Staples, 89 of Hazel Kentucky formerly of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray Kentucky. Corine was born on May 6, 1926, in Butler County Kentucky to the late Aaron and Iva McCoy Belcher and wife of the late Bronie Staples. She was a homemaker and a member of Big Muddy Missionary Baptist Church. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one son Johnny Staples, one daughter Yevette Staples, eight brothers and three sisters.
Corine Staples is survived by three daughters Sarah White and husband Roy of Hazel, Ky., Tina Flener and husband Kenny of Hazel, Ky. and Pat Walden and husband Ken of Cordova, TN; thirteen grandchildren Michael Flener and wife Kesley  of Farmington, Ky., Kenny Flener of Murray, Ky., Caleb Flener of Murray, Ky., Vickie Knox and husband Ricky of Crossville, TN, Shannon Macminn and husband Mark of Portland, OR, Alec Staples of Murray, Ky., Carlie Staples and wife Stacey of Puryear, TN, Crystal Staples of Murray, Ky., Chris Staples and wife Katherine of Morgantown, Ky., Nick Staples of Central City, Ky., Matt Staples of Bowling Green, Ky., Cavin Romans and wife Kim of Waxxatchie, TX and Jay Hunt of Gainesville, TX and several great-grandchildren; one brother Carlie Stapels and wife LeeAnn of Murray, Ky. and several nieces and nephews..
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Saturday, April 30, 2016, at 2:00 pm with Bro. Raleigh Blancett officiating.
Burial will be in the Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016, from 11:00 am until funeral time at 2:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Please share any photos, memories, condolences or light a candle in memory of Corine.
