Corbet Lindsey

Corbet Lindsey age 83 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 at his residence. Corbet was born on March 22, 1930 in Butler County, Ky., to the late Hobert and Vada Woosley Lindsey and husband of the late Edith Mullins Lindsey. He was retired from Lincoln-Mercury where he was a paint and auto body mechanic.  He attended Temple Hill General Baptist Church,  loved to play his guitar and sing, and will be remembered for his collection of Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He was preceeded in death by one son James Corbet Lindsey, one daughter Tressa Ann Lindsey-Parrish, one grandson Nicholas Parrish, one sister Hazel Lindsey-Woodcock, and one brother and sister in- law Ellis and JoAnn Lindsey.

Corbet Lindsey is survived by 2 sons; Dennis Harold Lindsey and wife Brenda of Morgantown Ky., and Richard Daniel Lindsey and wife Veda of Morgantown Ky., 2 daughters; Vanessa Jean Van Natta and husband Donald of Leitchfield Ky., and Debra Lynn Davidson and husband Silas of Muhlenburg Co. Ky., 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several neices and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel on Sunday, May 26, 2013, at 1:00 pm with private burial in the Lumbustown Cemetery. Vistation will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013 ,from 2:00 pm till 7:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel and on Sunday, May 26, 2013 from 11:00 am till funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
