Connie Ray Milam, 84, of Baizetown, Ky. passed away on Monday, Feb. 28, 2022 at the Owensboro Regional Hospital.  He was born in Baizetown, Ky. on Jan. 15, 1938 to the late Lawrence and Alta Geary Milam. Connie was a farmer and retired from Young Manufacturing after 30 plus years of service.   He enjoyed hunting and riding around the farm on his 4-wheeler with his Jack Russell, Ollie   He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Vera Joan Daugherty Milam; son Danny Milam; siblings Donny Milam, Sylvia Leisure, Velma Allen, Opal Leisure.

Connie is survived by his wife of 26 years, Gayle Hartis Milam of Baizetown, Ky.; son Denny Milam (Michelle) of Baizetown, Ky.; grandchildren Felisha Taylor of Cromwell, Ky., Denny Milam Jr. of Beaver Dam, Ky. and Tiffany Milam of Caneyville, Ky.; 7 great grandchildren; sisters Kathy Akin of Morgantown, Ky. and Pat Scott of Rockport, Ky.; 4 step children Paula Butts (Tim) of Bowling Green, Ky. Penni Lee (Keith) of Morgantown, Ky., Rebecca Connelly (David) of El Paso, TX and David Carroll (Krista) of SD; step grandchildren Mallory Combs (Brian), Myranda West (Heath), Jorden Phelps (Brittany) and Dakota Phelps (Kate) all of Morgantown Ky., Jacob Caroll, Allison Carroll and Jessica Carroll all of Nebraska; 7 step great grandchildren and his best buddy Ollie; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Friday, Mar. 4 at 1pm with Bro. Jay Raymond officiating.  Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Horse Branch, Ky.   Visitation will be held on Thursday, Mar. 3 from 4pm-8pm and Friday from 9am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
