Connie Hunt, 54 of Aberdeen, Kentucky passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Connie was born July 20, 1963, in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Noble and Aline Embry Cockerell who survives. She was a member of Brooklyn Missionary Baptist Church, she was employed at Walmart form 19 years and enjoyed reading, making dream catchers and all kinds of other crafts. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her grandparents Noah and Ola Embry and Alfred and Eva Cockerell and one sister Vonnell Hillard.

Connie Hunt is survived by her husband John Hunt of Aberdeen Kentukcy; four children Daniel Cockerell of Morgantown, KY, Joseph Hunt of Aberdeen, KY, Greg Hunt of Bowling Green, KY and Michael Scott "Hoppy" Hunt of Gilstrap, KY; 2 grandchildren Ethan and Abby Cockerell of Morgantown, KY ; mother Aline Cockerell of Aberdeen, KY; 10 siblings Kathleen Woodcock Gibb (Ken) of Morgantown, KY, Jewelene Towery (John) of Utica, KY, Floyd Cockerell (Connie) of Utica, KY, Charles Cockerell (Stephani) of Florida, Alice Simmons (Steve) of Owensboro, KY; Max Cockerell (Sharon) of Lawrenceburg, KY,  Diane Cockerell of Aberdeen, KY, David Cockerell of Owensboro, KY, twin brother Ronnie Cockerell of Owensboro, KY and Jerry Cockerell (Christie) of Quality, KY; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday, May 25, 2018, at 12:00 pm with Bro. Roger Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Brooklyn Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am until funeral time at 12:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
