Colonel Arthur "Kibby" Taylor

Colonel Arthur "Kibby" Taylor, 83, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 16, 1930 in Banock, Kentucky to the late Rufus Bunyan Taylor and Ruth Lamastus. Kibby was a 27-year retired Air Force Command Pilot. He was a member of Red River Valley Fighter Pilot Association, B-66 Association, KC-147 Association and Masonic Lodge, Banock, Kentucky. Kibby was the former president of Spinning Wheels Square Dance Club. He is predeceased in death by his first wife, Vivian "LuAnn" Taylor and second wife, Faye Doolin Taylor.
Colonel Arthur "Kibby" Taylor is survived by his wife Joyce Taylor; son Max Taylor; daughters Mona "Dee" Taylor and Connie Haney and her husband Jim; brother Robert "Forest" Taylor and his wife Zora; sister Jean Cade; grandchildren Jennifer Redenbarger, Patrick Haney and Erin Kellenberger and her husband Dayton and great granddaughter Kora Redenbarger; two step-daughters Glenda McChesney and Lori K. Howard; three step granddaughters Jyne Kessinger, Rachel Daugherty and Tawny Baggerly, husband Jordon, and one step-grandson, Charles Beldon McChesney.
Celebration of life will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.. Burial will be in the Mt Vernon Cemetery with Masonic Rites being conducted by Banock Lodge #824. Visitation is Saturday November 9, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.  Online condolences may be made at www.jonesfuneralchapel.com.
