CENTRAL CITY - Coleen Bailey Turner, age 88, of Central City died Friday, December 9, 2016 at her home. Ms. Turner was born November 19, 1928 in Butler County. She was a 50 + year member of Union Chapel Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Turner, parents Rhier and Nina Bailey, daughter Diane Evitts, sisters Tempie Webster and Pauline Hammers, infant sister Laura Mae Bailey.

She is survived by her granddaughter TeAnnah Melton of Greenville, great-grandson Obadiah Melton and great -granddaughters Chloee and Zoee Melton, son-in-law Mike Evitts of Greenville and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.

Funeral services will be Monday, December 12, 2016 at 1 PM at Union Chapel Church with Bro Kerry Vincent officiating and Bro. Robert Lindsey assisting. Burial will be in Allen Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday after 5 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Ms. Turner will lie in state Monday from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the church.
