Clora Mae Cannon, 92, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Morgantown Care and Rehab Center, Morgantown, Ky. She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on June 24, 1924 to the late Pal and Serennia Elms Shepherd. Clora was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. She loved dogs, cats and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Oval House and George Cannon, son Larry House, three sisters and one brother.

Ms. Cannon is survived by daughters Colean Woodcock (Charles) of Morgantown, Carolyn Wilson (Onard) of Morgantown; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; daughter- in-law Diane House of New Albany, In.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 12:00 pm with Bro. T.J. Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Wade Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 4:30-8pm, Thursday 8am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky.
