Clifford Talmich White, 87, of Pekin, died Sunday, October 18, 2015 in North Pekin at the home of this granddaughter, surrounded by his family.
Clifford was born August 2, 1928, in Gilstrap, Kentucky. He was the son of Leamon and Myra Jane (Cochran) White. He married Rose Marie Winkler they spent 59 years together.
Later he married Wilma Yauch of Kankakee, she survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Myra Rose (Ed) Pietila, of Arvada, CO.; one son, Clifford E. (Carol) White, of Pima, AZ.; two grandchildren, Myra Jane Blair (Rick) Schatzman, of North Pekin, IL and Clifford E. (Julie) White Jr. of Pima, AZ.; seven great-grandchildren, Lukas Bolen, Zander Schatzman, Timothy and Saraphina White Alexis, John Ross, and Bailey Curtis; three brothers, Robert (Hallie) White of OH, Huey White of KY, Dale (Mary) White of KY; three sisters Ruth Bybee of IL, Pat (Daryl) Snodgrass of KY, Anita (Wayne) Miller of KY.
Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Rose Marie (Winkler) White, two sons, Clifford Talmich White Jr. and James Robert White, two brothers James White and Kenneth Parks, two sisters Gwendolyn Hoover and Eudena Cook, one granddaughter Michelle Dawn Blair Curtis and his son-in-law Edwin Nels Pietila.
Clifford enjoyed much of his life working in the auto-body repair field and spending time in his yard and garden.  He enjoyed his church friends from both First Missionary Church of North Pekin and Liberty Baptist Church of Pekin.  Family was very important to Clifford.
Funeral services will be held at the New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 3:30pm with Bro. Gene Garner officiating. Burial will be at New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Gilstrap, Ky. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 2:00pm until funeral time at 3:30pm at the New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church.
