Clarice Nell Stagner Brown age 77, passed away Sunday April 28, 2019 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.

The Butler County native was the daughter of the late Jess and Josie Lois Hocker Stagner, she was preceded in death by one brother Gary Stagner and half-sister Ruby Hawkins.

Clarice loved to cook, sew, craft, spend time outdoors taking care of her flowers, she enjoyed geneology and baking wedding cakes. She was an avid UK fan and above all an active member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years Gerald W. Brown, two sons Danny Wayne Brown (Amy) and Jeff Brown (Kathryn), one daughter Susan Minton (Terry), grandchildren Caleb Brown, Jonah Brown, Matthew Fridy, Lauren Fridy, Jacob Fridy, Lilly Brown, Josh Minton (Hannah) and Julia Minton.

Visitation will be  4:00 PM – 9:00 PM Tuesday April 30 at the J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday May 1 at the J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel with burial in the Union Cemetery in Butler County to follow.
