Clara Jones Oney, 91 of Bowling Green, KY  passed away Friday December 27, 2019 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. She was born June 23, 1928 in the Logansport Community in Butler County to the union of Shelby Sr. and Claudia House Jones and wife of the late Aubrey C. Oney. She was a member of the Elks Lodge, Kentucky Colonel and a avid golfer. Clara enjoyed all the churches in Myrtle Beach visiting and taking part in. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by two brothers Shelby Jones Jr and Robbie Jones; sister Rachel Arvin; two nephews Gerald M. Jones and William Maynard; one niece Lynn Conner and sister in law Elaine Martin Jones.

Clara Jones Oney is survived by four nephews Keith Jones and wife Angie of Leitchfield, KY, Kevin Jones and wife Angie of Taylorsville, KY, Steve Jones and wife Pat of Carolina Beach, North Carolina and Robert Maynard of Ashland, KY; four nieces Sharon Jones of Bardstown, KY, Shirley Hampton and husband Freddie of Morgantown, KY, Ginger Sexton and husband Bill of Hanover, Indian and Elizabeth Neilis of Ashland, KY and several great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and burial will be held in the Salem Cemetery Saturday January 4, 2019 at 12:00pm with Bro. Freddie Hampton officiating.
