Christopher Lavon McLean, 44 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday September 12, 2015 at his residence. Christopher was born December 11, 1970 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky to the late Charles "Mac" and JoAnn Bennett McLean who survives. He worked as a handyman for Roger Keown and is preceded in death by his father, two brothers Mark Robert McLean and Mitchell Ray Vertress and one sister Monica Buckles.
Christopher Lavon McLean is survived by his mother JoAnn McLean of Morgantown, Ky.; one daughter Brittany Gottschalk of Indianapolis, IN; two sons Matthew and Nick McLean both of Indianapolis, IN; two grandsons Elijah and Jaxon Gottschalk; one granddaughter Elana McLean; six brothers Mark Anthony McLean wife Rhonda of Franklin, Ky., Doug McLean wife Leigh of Bowling Green, Ky., Daniel McLean wife Lola of Bowling Green, Ky.; Guy McLean of Rochester, NY., Kevin Vertrees of Radcliff, Ky. and Ricky Vertrees of Wisconsin; four sisters Sandy Irwin of Florida, Mary Ann Clemmons of Florida, Cindy Wright of Radcliff, Ky. and Diane Loving of Radcliff, Ky.; fiancée Kristie Evans of Morgantown, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held at the Snodgrass Cemetery Wednesday September 16, 2015 at 1:00pmwith Bro. Gary Embry officiating. Arrangement are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel.
