Christine Phelps, 65 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013, at the Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, Ky. Christine was born June 3, 1947, in Butler County, to the late Julion and Maxine Phelps Lindsey. She was a member of Big Muddy Missionary Baptist Church and currently employed at BCHS Food Services. Memorial contributions may be made to Butler County Cancer Assistance P.O. Box 98 Aberdeen, Ky. 42201. She was preceded in death by one brother David Lindsey.

Christine Phelps is survived by one daughter Sandy Keown (Sammy) of Morgantown, Ky.; grandson Clayton Keown of Morgantown, Ky.; brother Donald Lindsey (Retha) of Jetson, Ky.; 2 sisters; Janice McGrew (Pat) of Drakesboro, Ky. and Linda Neal (Greg) of Jetson, Ky; companion Pat Stout of Morgantown, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday, February 15, 2013, at 2:00pm with Bro. Ronnie Forrest officiating. Burial will be in the Payton Phelps Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 14, 2013, from 11:00am - 8:00pm and Friday from 8:00am until funeral time at 2:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
