Chester L. Phelps, 71 of Bowling Green, Kentucky passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018, at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Chester was born October 30, 1946, in Warren County Kentucky to the late Chester Phelps and Willodean Decker Carter. He attended Woodbury Missionary Baptist Church and was a United States Army Veteran. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one daughter Lynn Phelps Roberts and three brothers Mike Phelps, Timmy Thompson and Rodney Decker.

Chester L. Phelps is survived by two sons William Phelps of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Todd Phelps Roberts of Clarksville, Indiana; three brothers Mark Carter of Roundhill, KY, Elton Carter of Bowling Green, KY and Charles Cardwell of Bowling Green, KY; two sisters Sharon Decker of Bowling Green, KY and Johnnie Faye Carter Thompson of Louisville, KY and several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
