Chester Bell Peay, 73, of Rochester, Ky. passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at St. Thomas, West Hospital in Nashville, Tn. Chester was born July 15, 1941 in Butler Co., Ky. to the late Raymond and Sally Foster Peay. He was a United States Army Veteran and a retired Mechanic , Mr. Peay was a member of New Midway Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Sally; one sister Faye Dean Peay

Mr. Peay is survived by his wife of 47 years Linda Southerland Peay of Rochester, Ky.
two daughters: Tammie Adkins and husband Eric of Morgantown, Theresa Johnson and husband Dewayne of Rochester; three granddaughters Mattea Johnson of Rochester, Ky. Haley and Laney Beth Adkins of Morgantown; one great-grandson: Noah Ogles; one sister Darlene Beliles and husband Richard of Rochester, Ky.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, March 14 at 2 pm with Bro. Todd Phelps officiating. Burial will follow in the Rochester Cemetery with Military Honors, Visitation will be Friday, March 13 from 4 to 9 pm and Saturday March 14, from 8 am til time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
