Charles William "Chuck" McGranahan

Charles William "Chuck" McGranahan, 79 of Morgantown, Kentucky entered into rest with his wife and daughter on Tuesday January 19, 2021 at their residence. Chuck was born on Friday May 2, 1941 in Ashland, Kentucky to the union of the late Gurvis and Monnie DeBoard McGranahan. He was a member of Impact Church in Bowling Green, Kentucky and retired from Santa Monica School System maintenance department. Chuck loved animals, bird watching and whistling but most of all spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by loving wife Lupe Victoria Ruiz McGranahan, his daughter Angela McGranahan, and one brother Jay McGranahan.

Charles William "Chuck" McGranahan is survived by his children Cyndi McGranahan Beller and husband Eric of Morgantown, KY, Jonathan McGranahan of Morgantown, KY, Tony McGranahan and wife Laura of Roundhill, KY, Charles Mauk and wife Pam of Ashland, KY; special daughter Kathy Johnston of Morgantown, KY; 9 grandchildren Rayna, Bristol, Ashley, Charlie, Violet, Archer, Britton, Berry and Julia; two sisters Shirley Hamrick and Ellen Casson and husband Ray all of Morgantown, KY; one brother James "Jim" McGranahan and wife Kathy of Morgantown, KY along with several nieces and nephews.

A walk thru visitation will be held on Tuesday January 26, 2021 from 1:00pm til 8:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be privately held on Wednesday with Bro. Dan Stratton and Bro. David Glisson officiating. Burial will be held in the McGranahan Family Cemetery where Kevin, Travis, Dylan, Drake Inglis, Carlos Gonazales Jr., Wesley Kraude and Charlie Phelps will serve as pallbearers.
