Charles Olson Cook, 86 of Hartford, Kentucky passed away Sunda,y December 6, 2015 at his residence. Charles was born October 21, 1929 in Arnold, Ky. in Ohio County to the late Ethyl and Eunice Daugherty Cook and husband of the late Sue James Cook. He was a member of Morgantown Church of Christ and a retired carpenter from Hartz Construction. Other than his parents and wife he is preceded in death by two sons Roger and Phillip Cook, one brother Junior Cook and one sister Mary Daugherty.
Charles Olson Cook is survived by two sons Chris Cook and wife Cydnee of Beaver Dam, Ky. and Jim Sanders wife Barbara of Hartford, Ky.; five daughters Vickie Cook of Louisville, Ky., Judy Cook of Louisville, Ky., Kathy Cornett and husband Wayne of Bowling Green, Ky., Lesia Cook of Beaver Dam, Ky. and Pat Ashby and husband Jeff of Cromwell, Ky.; one brother Edward Cook and wife Pat of Mt Washington, Ky.; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 12:00pm with Bro. Roger Worley officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Cromwell, Ky. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 3:00pm - 8:00pm and Thursday 10:00am until funeral time at 12:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
