Charles McLean

Charles "Mac" McLean Jr., age 81 of Morgantown, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green Ky. Mr. McLean was born July 19, 1930 in Benton, Illinois to the late Charles H. and Dorcas Foulon McLean. He was a member of Barnett's Lick Missionary Baptist Church. He was retired from the United States Navy and was a Butler County Sheriffs Deputy for 8 years. Mr. McLean is preceded in death by daughter Monica Buckles, 2 sons Monty Clemmons and Victor Lynn, and 2 brothers and 5 sisters. 

Charles "Mac" McLean Jr. is survived by his wife JoAnn Bennett McLean of Morgantown; 4 daughters Sandy Irwin of Arkansas, Mary Ann Clemmons of Florida, Cindy Wright and husband Dewayne of Radcliff, and Diane Loving and husband David of Radcliff; 11 sons Bruce McLean of Washington, Mike McLean of Washington, Mark Robert McLean of Bowling Green, Guy McLean and wife Marnee of Rochester, New York, Mark Anthony McLean and wife Rhonda of Auburn, Doug McLean of Louisville, Daniel McLean and wife Lola of Jetson, Chris McLean of Morgantown, Kevin Vertrees of Radcliff, Mitchell Ray Vertrees of California and Ricky Vertrees of Wisconsin; 1 brother Oral McLean of South Bend, IN.; 25 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; special friends Brenda Hope and HC Taylor; and several neices and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the Jones Funeral Chapel at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in the Snodgrass Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel and on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 8:00 am till funeral time at 1:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
