Charles Edward Mann
Charles Edward Mann, known affectionately as Eddie to his friends and family, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY. Born on Thursday, May 11, 1950, in Nashville, Tennessee, Eddie's life was a testament to his interesting character, his handy skills, and his passionate spirit.
Eddie proudly served his country as a United States Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he embarked on a career as a truck driver for Eagle Industries. His love for the open road was only matched by his enthusiasm for NASCAR.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce E. and Jean Joyce Gann Mann, and his daughter, Deanna Mann. His legacy continues through his beloved wife of over 20 years, Vicki Thomas Mann of Morgantown, Kentucky. Eddie was a devoted father to his eight children: James Kessinger and Jeremy Kessinger of Louisville, KY; Christy Morris (Chris) of Morgantown, KY; Misty Belcher of Bowling Green, KY; Robert Mann, Kevin Mann, Dale Mann, all of Nashville, TN; and Christopher Mann of Alabama and several grandchildren.
