Charles "Chuck" A. Embry, 69, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020 after a short illness.  He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on June 29, 1951 to the late Lucian and Dewey Lorine Turner Embry.  Chuck was a diesel mechanic and truck driver for Morgantown Freight for over 25 years, he worked hard and loved harder.  He was the kind of man who had a smile that lit up any room he was in and was a man of his word.  Chuck would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother and two sisters.

Left to cherish his memories are his two kids, son Sean Embry and  daughter Amanda Hudgins; three grandchildren Madison Embry, Spencer and Cheyenne Hudgins; two brothers and two sisters; several nieces, nephews and a lot of friends.  

"Wait for us by the river dad, we will see you again soon."

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021 at 1pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Nicholas Greenman officiating.  Burial will follow in the Newton Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, Jan. 6 from 10am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
