Charles "Charlie" Beliles

Charles "Charlie" Beliles, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2024, at the Beaver Dam Nursing & Rehab Center. Born on February 14, 1935, in Ennis, Kentucky, Charlie lived a full and vibrant life marked by devotion to his family, a strong work ethic, and a passion for the simple pleasures in life.

Charlie was the loving husband of Janice Fuller Beliles, with whom he shared over three decades of marriage since their union on April 10, 1993, in Morgantown, Kentucky. Together, they built a life filled with joy, support, and unwavering companionship. He was a dedicated father to his daughter, Kathie Bush (Kendall), of Destin, Florida, and a doting grandfather and great grandfather to his two grandchildren, Charlie Bush (Brooke) of Franklin, Kentucky, and Katrina Thomas (Tim) of Mt Juliet, Tennessee and four great grandchildren.

Charlie was a beloved brother to Lois Hoover of Greenville, Kentucky, and a respected brother-in-law to Faye Beliles of Crawfordsville, Indiana. His extended family included several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Lottie Wester Beliles, who instilled in him the values of kindness and faith that he carried throughout his life, and four siblings Carlie Beliles, Glen Beliles, Billy Joe Beliles and Exie Fay Hoover.

For over 30 years, Charlie dedicated his professional life to Franklin Steel in Franklin Park, Illinois. Charlie was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and the Steel Workers Union.  Beyond his professional endeavors, Charlie enjoyed fishing, a avid fan of UK Basketball, and he cherished the companionship of his beloved dog, Buttons.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 2:00 pm with Bro. Richard Allen officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester Cemetery where his family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Sunday 12:00pm until funeral time at 2:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Beaver Dam Nursing and Rehabilitation Center 1595 US Hwy 231 South Beaver Dam, KY 42320.
