Charles Cameron Childress

Charles Cameron Childress, 66, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green.  He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on August 15, 1952 to the late Garland and Dora Niccum Childress.  Cameron was in the Army Corps of Engineers during the Vietnam Era and loved to farm. Cameron was a member of Sandy Creek Missionary Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Everett, William “Lester” and Raymond Childress.
 
Cameron is survived by his wife Belinda Beller Childress of Morgantown; son Eric Beller (Cyndi) of Morgantown; grandchildren Rayna & Bristol Beller of Morgantown; two brothers James E. Childress (Doloris) of Morgantown, Max A. Childress of Morgantown; two sisters Patricia Childress Pendley of Rochester, Ramona Fisher (Steve) of Morgantown; brother in law Garland Frank Beller of Bowling Green, Ky.; several nieces, nephews and friends, too numerous to mention; canine companions “Ozzy”, “Brownie” & “Little Boy”.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 1pm at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Rodney Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Sandy Creek Cemetery where Military Honors will be presented by the Ohio Co. Honor Guard.  Visitation will begin Tuesday, February 26th from 12-8pm and Wednesday 8am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
