 Charles “Chuck” B. Gary Jr. age 74 passed away Friday January 4, 2019 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky. The Central City native was the son of the late Charles Bernard Gary and Marjorie Sorenson. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Elta Gary who helped raise him.

Chuck coached Highview Little League sports for over 20 years making an impact in the lives of countless kids, was an avid UK & WKU fan, he retired from General Motors in 2006, and he loved spending time on Barren River Lake with his family and friends, he will be remembered by all for his wit and sense of humor. He was a member of Hillvue Heights Church.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ann Gary, son Todd Gary (Debbie Mills), daughter Jill Gary Allen (Troy), step-mother Juanita Gary, sisters Gina McIntyre and Janet Brooks, brothers Mike Gary and Mark Gary, grandchildren; Kristina Gary Fehr, Ashley LaCroix, Parker Elizabeth Gary, Cameron Allen and Kayci Allen, 7 great grandchildren and a family friend and golf partner Jack Case, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Celebration of Life will be 12:00 pm Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Hillvue Heights Church with burial to follow in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel will be Monday from 4:00-8:00 pm and Tuesday from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at Hillvue Heights Church. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
