Cary Elder, 63, of Horse Branch, passed away Saturday, December 5th, 2015 at his residence.

He was born on Sunday, December 23rd, 1951 in Ohio County, the son of Russell and Eva (Embry) Elder. Cary was a member at Mt Olive General Baptist Church. He also enjoyed fishing.

Cary is survived by his brother, Gary Elder of Caneyville; three aunts, Peggy Beasley, Betty Hayes and Mary Jo Corley all of Horse Branch; one uncle, Buddy Embry also of Horse Branch and several cousins. He preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 8th at 2:00 pm at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Graylin Hayes will be officiating. Burial will be in the Richland Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Tuesday after 11:00 am until time of service.
